Setting approx. dates and hiding dates

I met some people in the past, one for example was 20+ years ago. It could be the year 2000 or 2001, of course I also do not remember the exact day either. So I'd appreciate a way to set an approx date. Like "Jane, I first met around 2000-2001 at work". Also when I save the entry with some random date, e.g. Sept 1st, 2001 it says in HOW WE MET (All People > Name of a Person > right sidebar) the date when I saved the entry (so today) which is super confusing. A way to hide the date in this view (so,e option?) would be nice.
